North Herts Women’s Bowling Association was established in 1986 and is administered by a voluntary committee. This can consist of President, Vice President, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer, Fixture Secretary, League Secretary, Competition Secretary.
 

The Association is affiliated to Bowls England, it’s aims and objects, to promote the game of green bowls for women in the North Herts and Stevenage Borough area. To give the opportunity and experience to play and compete beyond club bowling.
 

All outdoor bowling clubs in this area are encouraged to affiliate to the Association.
This then offers ladies the opportunity to play for the Association in friendly matches organised against other Associations or bowling clubs, also to compete each year in an inter club league or, as individuals, enter any competition organised by the Association.
 

We hold an annual Luncheon, where Winners and Runners Up are presented with trophies for whatever competitions have been held.
 

We have an annual AGM when affiliated clubs, are able to submit in writing any proposals for discussion, and when committee members are elected for the coming year.
